WOW a gift from Duncan

Perhaps you don't know this, but our last anniversary was #13 and it's been a great 1st month. This is our life in a nutshell - Duncan and I work - and volunteer and work - waiting in joyful hope between you know parenting - wish we were as blessed like our friends with 1 to lots of babies! We've been blessed watching many many of our friends children develop into young adults...so you can imagine the up and down roller coaster of parenting no parenting - foster caring, adopting - so many choices - just waiting and enjoying our time as it is me, Duncan and Buddy for the most part. So for the first time in a long while I'm trusting in doing something spontaneous and getting on a plane Saturday morning to San Diego with Duncan...we are picking up hopefully our mini cooper convertible gray 2005...should be fun. Hopefully I have some fun stories recapping our road trip home. Keep smiling everyone!

First time posting a wow and fun...

Okay team bloggers it is official...Cathleeng from St. Francis is beginning her blog...be kind and patient with me. Currently we are watching cops as I type. Duncan is asking that I not pound so hard on the keyboard and Buddy (our dog) just slurped up a bunch of water.

Tomorrow is the feast of Corpus Christi - aka the celebration of the true presence of Jesus Christ in the holy eucharist in the blessed sacrament! I will be attending a procession service with parishoners of the Archdiocese of San Francisco - begins after the 1pm mass at Ss Peter and Paul in the North Beach section of town, and the parade continues through the streets of the city of St. Francis to the National Shrine church on Vallejo and Columbus.

Last Saturday I attended a great performance by Sister Nancy Murray of the Dominican sisters of Adrian, MI on the life of St. Catherine of Sienna...http://www.nancymurrayop.org
I highly recommend inviting this fearless and intelligent gal to bless the presence of your parish or neighborhood. SHE IS SIMPLY A DELIGHT TO WITTNESS. Do you know who St. Catherine of Sienna is?

Anyway, I'm grateful to join the world of blogging and look forward to speeking or reading from you soon...The joy of the Lord is my strength and to you too I hope you seek to listen and respond. God rocks!
